 | Quiet Carolina Headphone Events What Is Silent Disco? Something I will never forget is the first time I attended a Silent Disco! I haven't put on a pair of headphones...So imagine this - People laughing, dancing, shuffling, jumping up and down, singing, screaming, connecting, and overall having a Ball! Here is what was so different/interesting about it! There was absolutely no "Audible" music!!! Which if you never been to a Silent Disco could be kinda strange. So the Silent Disco Company provided Wireless headphones to everybody who attended the party. The headphones were equipped with a volume knob, and a switch to choose between 3 different channels (Dj's). Which means at least 3 different Dj's playing all at once! You, the audience, get to choose what genre you wanted to listen to. The cool thing about Silent Disco, is the wireless LED headphones change colors depending on who you choose to listen to, which adds some Awesome interactive and social elements to the party! There is like a "Battle of the Dj's" element because you can visually see who is winning over the crowd, by looking around at everybody's wireless LED headphones. As a music lover and P/T Dj I was HOOKED! I wanted to Host this type of Party! The possibilities are endless with a Silent Disco Headphone Event... Club Nights, Weddings, School Dances and Proms, Corporate Parties, Music festivals, Silent Yoga and so much more!!! With Silent Disco being contained in headphones, Event Producers don't pay for sound permits and city sound ordinances for their event. In some cities, this can be a very involved process with strict cutoff times. With Silent Disco, parties can range on after-hours with no concern of breaking city sound laws!
